Agreed with the points you made here. Often I find people jump to these quotes because that’s simply what they’ve been taught seeing it work for a few people. True leaders I’ve found in my experience are devoid of such cliche quotes. The few exceptions I’ve met who’ve used them have made sure to back these quotes up with strong clear arguments to ensure their words had meaning.
